Welcome to the Center for Career Life Planning (CCLP). CCLP specializes in serving professionals starting out, starting over, or seeking advancement, and/or career change following retirement from a military career or government service.

Three major services are offered to address your needs:

Individual Services: CCLP offers individualized career counseling and vocational testing, with the Strong Interest Inventory® and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® available through the Web. Under the direction of Dr. Pat Boer, a National Certified Career Counselor, your results and options will be evaluated regarding: direction, advancement, career change, relocation, and/or lifelong learning needs. Resume critiques, job search strategies, and advice on the use of computer-based systems are also offered. Evening & Saturday appointments are available.

Group Workshops: Small group workshops include specific topics of interest to job seekers and career changers, offering proven strategies to help you reach your goals. Each month a different topic is offered such as: “Branding, Bragging and Blogging,” Resume Writing, Acing the Interview and Becoming Resilient in Tough Times.” Daytime Workshops are also available for stay-at-home moms who are thinking about returning to school or going back to work in their respective/former professions.

Consultation, Training, and Presentations: CCLP offers consultation, training and presentations to Coronado’s businesses, service organizations and government agencies on career and related issues. Topics are customized to fit the needs of the organization and may include: Resilience Training, Leadership Development and Outplacement Services for military and government employees retiring or transitioning into civilian life.
